(Photo Confirmation) Arsenal Loan Out Nigerian Wonderkid Nwakali To VVV Venlo
Published: August 31, 2017
With a statement on their official website, Dutch Eredivisie outfit VVV Venlo have confirmed the signing of Nigeria U20 international Kelechi Nwakali.
The Arsenal attacking midfielder has been loaned out to VVV Venlo for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.
VVV Venlo had agreed terms with the Gunners a long time, but obtaining the necessary documents for Nwakali's transfer took some time.
''Nwakali had been on the list of Venlo for a long time, but he was awaiting all the paperwork to be in place,''said manager Stan Valckx to VVV Venlo's official webpage.
''Finally, it's nice that everything could be completed on the so-called Deadline Day.''
Last season, the 19-year-old Nwakali played on loan at MVV Maastricht, and made 29 appearances in the Dutch second-tier, scoring 2 goals while providing 3 assists.
