The Super Eagles have landed in Yaounde ahead of Monday evening's World Cup qualifier against Cameroon, a fixture that corresponds to the fourth round of matches in Group B.
Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has posted a picture on social networks, confirming that the squad arrived safely in the Cameroonian capital.
Ogu tweeted, with an accompanying photo of himself and assistant captain Eddy Onazi : ''In Yaoundé . Thank God for safe trip . May God guide and protect our mission here 🙏🙏.. Cc @OnaziOgenyi''
John Ogu was a non-playing substitute in Friday's match against the Indomitable Lions, while Onazi put in a full shift and provided the assist for Nigeria's last goal scored by Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Super Eagles will be through to their sixth World Cup if they beat Cameroon and nearest challengers Zambia drop points against Algeria.
