Published: September 24, 2017
Arsenal will look to continue their impressive form at home against West Brom when both teams square off at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night, starting from 2000 hours.
The last time Arsene Wenger's side lost to the Baggies at the Emirates was back in the 2010-2011 season, on September 25, 2010 on match day six.
Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie made a name for himself when he opened the scoring for West Brom in the 50th minute, before the visitors extended their lead to 3-0 courtesy of strikes from Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas.
Samir Nasri scored in the final fifteen minutes to set up a nervy finish, but West Brom still held on for a famous victory.
Peter Odemwingie, who is an Arsenal fan, did not score against the Gunners again when he transferred to Cardiff City and Stoke City.
The former Bendel Insurance star now plays his football for Indonesian Super League outfit Madura United, for whom he has scored 13 goals from 18 appearances.
Odemwingie is on the mend and has not featured for Mad United since August 21.
