Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton Watched Super Eagles Star & Spurs Loanee On TuesdayA number of English clubs sent their representatives to watch Tuesday evening's EFL Championship tie between Burton Albion and Aston Villa.

According to the official scouts and intermediaries list first disclosed by The Villa Zone, Manchester United, Arsenal, Stoke City, Everton, Swansea City and Brighton & Hove might be targeting reinforcements ahead of the opening of the winter transfer market, as they were in attendance at the Pirelli Stadium.

Super Eagles star Hope Akpan, who has fully recovered from injury, was a 33rd minute substitute for Burton Albion number two Brayford, while Tottenham Hotspur loanee Josh Onomah played the last 21 minutes for Aston Villa.

Les Parry, Glynn Lodge and Jim Barron represented Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton respectively.

Other clubs that were interested in the fixture include Bolton Wanderers, Cardiff City, Wolves, Bristol City and Sheffield United.

England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder Josh Onomah was among the scorers for Aston Villa in a 4-0 win, his second league goal for the club he joined on loan in August.
