Etebo Lands In Lagos Ahead Of Super Eagles First Training Session On Tuesday
Published: October 01, 2017Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has landed in Lagos, ahead of Saturday's 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Zambia at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The 2016 Rio Olympic Games star arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 1600 hours from his base in Portugal.
Etebo will spend the night in Lagos before linking up with his Super Eagles teammates at Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort in Uyo on Monday, October 2.
According to the schedule released by the Nigeria Football Federation, the Super Eagles will hold their first training session on Tuesday, and the fans and media will be allowed to feast their eyes on the players for two consecutive days.
The training sessions on Thursday and Friday, on October 5 and 6 respectively, will take place behind closed doors.
Nigeria can qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia if they beat Zambia on October 7.
