Arsene Wenger : Iwobi Must Contribute To At Least 16 Goals Every Season
Published: October 02, 2017Speaking at a press conference following Arsenal's 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday, manager of the London club, Arsene Wenger, has set a target for Alex Iwobi, saying the Nigerian must contribute to at least 16 goals every season.
The Nigeria international shrugged off an injury before netting his first goal for the Gunners since January 2017, and his display against the Seagulls was pleasing to the eye.
''I think he’s a kind of player who has a good availability,'' Arsene Wenger stated.
''He helps you a lot to get out of pressure when you are in a build up game and creates spaces.
''What you want from him is final balls and goals as well. A player like him must score 10 goals and he must as well give between six and 10 assists and that’s what I want from him.''

Alex Iwobi made his sixth appearance of the season in all competitions against Brighton & Hove.
