Published: October 05, 2017Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Zambian National Team have landed in Uyo ahead of the biggest game in their history, a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The Dana Air plane that brought the delegation from the Nigerian capital touched down at the Akwa Ibom Airport at 1558 hours, and a coach took them to their hotel after they completed airport formalities.
An advanced team had come in yesterday, while their fans are coming on Saturday morning.
It is unclear at his point if the Copper Bullets will have a feel of the match venue on Thursday evening, though unlikely, as they trained in Abuja this morning before hopping on the plane to Uyo.
The Super Eagles top Group B of the World Cup qualifiers with ten points and will qualify for the tournament in Russia if they beat Zambia in two days time.
The match kicks off at 1700 hours and will be aired live on SuperSport.
