Chelsea Loanee Ike Ugbo Scores For England In 5-1 Thrashing Of Italy
Chelsea loanee Ike Ugbo was on target for England U20s, his second for the age group, in their 5-1 hammering of Italy in an international friendly staged at Municipal Stadium of Gorgonzola on Thursday, October 5.

The Barnsley striker and Fulham midfielder Adetayo Edun were named in the starting line-up by manager Keith Downing.

It took the Young Lions only four minutes to open the scoring thanks to Isaac Buckley-Ricketts who powered a header past the goalkeeper but the Italians restored parity in the 15th minute.

Marcus Edwards and Buckley-Ricketts scored to give England a two-goal advantage heading into half-time.

On 63 minutes, Easah Suliman increased the lead before Ike Ugbo sent the goalkeeper the wrong way with a penalty to wrap up the scoring in the 67th minute.

Whilst Ugbo lasted the distance, Tayo Edun was substituted with 15 minutes remaining.
