Published: October 17, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Albanian First Division club FK Egnatia have completed the signing of former Nigeria U17 international Henry Okebugwu.
The central midfielder had agreed terms with FK Egnatia over the summer but a deal was not finalized until he was issued a visa to join up with his new employer last week.
Henry Okebugwu was in the same Golden Eaglets set as Kelechi Nwakali, but couldn't make the 2015 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and World Cup rosters after suffering an injury.
His agreement with FK Egnatia will keep him in Rrogozhinë until the end of the 2019-2020 season, having penned a three-year contract.
For the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign, Henry Okebugwu has been handed the number 23 jersey.
The deal that took the former FC Ifeanyi Ubah starlet to FK Egnatia was brokered by Nigerian agent Joel Buade.
