Published: October 18, 2017
Kelechi Iheanacho was among six Leicester City players that attended a signing session at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday, same day the Foxes parted company with manager Craig Shakespeare.
The Nigeria international was delighted to meet the Blue Army, saying the experience will help him build a personal relationship with the fans.
''It was cool meeting the fans. We want to sign more. We love it and are happy to see the fans and get to know people in Leicester more,'' Iheanacho told Leicester City's official website.
“It is good to know people in the community and know more of the fans. The atmosphere is really good, they always cheer in the games, it is brilliant.''
The Taye Academy product joined the Foxes on a five-year deal in the summer transfer window, and has recorded six appearances for the first team in all competitions.
Iheanacho was involved for 74 minutes in Leicester City's latest match in the Premier League against West Brom.
