Abdullahi Shehu Suspended For Two Games By Cyprus FA, Faces FineSuper Eagles star Abdullahi Shehu has been suspended for two games by the Cyprus Football Association, the governing body for football in Cyprus, following his red card against Apollon last weekend.

And on top of that, the Cyprus FA may fine the Anorthosis Famagusta midfielder over his conduct, which led to his dismissal in the 36th minute in the First Division clash.

''Abdullahi Shehu has been banned for two games by the Cyprus Football Association, and we have to wait until Wednesday to see if he'll get an extra fine,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.

As a result of the ban, Shehu is technically ruled out of the upcoming games against Ethnikos Achna (October 21) and Paphos (October 25).

This season, the former Kano Pillars ace has been ever-present in Anorthosis Famagusta's starting line-up.

He was named Man of the Match in Nigeria's World Cup qualifier versus Zambia about two weeks ago.
