Update : Messi Will Fly To Krasnodar For Nigeria Friendly, Participation Still UnclearBarcelona striker Lionel Messi remains doubtful to feature for Argentina when they tackle Nigeria in an international friendly in Southern Russia on Tuesday, November 14.

The new information, according to championat.com, is that Messi will fly with the Argentinian team to Krasnodar for the friendly match against Nigeria and it's up to manager Jorge Sampaoli to decide whether or not he'll be handed some minutes against the three-time African champions.

Earlier, Argentinian media suggested that the number ten will be rested for the game against the Super Eagles, bearing it in mind that he will feature against Russia on November 11, three days before the Albiceleste's game with the Africans, and a week before Barcelona face off with Sevilla in La Liga.

Telesport, the company that organized the Russia-Argentina and Argentina-Nigeria friendlies has stated that Messi will arrive in Krasnodar with his international teammates, but did not confirm his participation.

On Thursday, Argentina manager Jorge Sampaoli will announce the four local based players added to the roster for the games against Russia and Nigeria.
