Rohr Among Thirteen Foreign Coaches At The 2018 World Cup

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is among thirteen foreign coaches that will lead teams other than their counties of birth or nationality at the 2018 World Cup.
Born in Mannheim, West Germany, Rohr is also the holder of a French passport, having lived for more than twenty years in Bordeaux.
Spaniard Roberto Martinez will coach the Belgium national team at the mundial, Vladimir Petkovic from Croatia is Switzerland's boss, and a Norwegian Hareide Age will manage Denmark.
Three Argentinians Ricardo Gareca, José Pékerman and Héctor Cúper manage the Peruvian, Colombian and Egyptian national teams respectively.
Frenchman Herve Renard led Morocco to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in twenty years after shocking Ivory Coast at home last week.
