Fifa Ranking: Super Eagles Drop Nine Spots To No. 50, Top 10 Countries Revealed

The Nigeria National Team lost only two games in 2017, a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and a 2018 African Nations Championship qualifier to Benin Republic.
The Super Eagles, including the home-based, won five matches against Togo, Benin Republic, Cameroon, Zambia and Argentina, and drew three matches against Senegal, Cameroon and Algeria, but this will not pay off when the next Fifa ranking is published on Thursday, November 23.
Based on the prognosis of the ranking conducted by allnigeriasoccer.com, Nigeria will drop nine spots to number fifty in the global ranking.
Of the five African countries that have qualified for the 2018 World Cup - Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria - the Super Eagles are the lowest ranked team.
The top three teams in Africa Senegal, Tunisia and Egypt are ranked 23rd, 27th and 31st respectively in the global ranking, Morocco is ranked 40th.
World champions Germany are the best team in the world, followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
