Moses, Iwobi, Ndidi Snubbed As IFFHS Announces Team Of The Year 2017The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has announced its Team of the Year 2017, with no Nigerian player making the prestigious list.

Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses and Arsenal wonderkid Alex Iwobi helped their respective clubs win the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup respectively last season, and Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi has been extremely influential since his arrival in England in January 2017 from Racing Genk.

No player on the books of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United was worthy of consideration in the ceremonial team of the year revealed by the German-based organization.

Five Real Madrid players made the list and the team is coached by France great Zinedine Zidane.

Nigeria's top women player, ex-Arsenal and Liverpool striker Asisat Oshoala, was snubbed in the IFFHS Women World Team 2017.

Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus).
Defenders: Marcelo, Sergio Ramos (both are Real), Leonardo Bonucci (Milan), Dani Alves (PSG).
Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric (both are Real), Kevin De Breuin (Manchester City).
Forwards: Neimar (PSG), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (Barcelona).
