(Photo Confirmation) Chelsea First Signing Of Winter Transfer Window Visits Cobham
Published: December 16, 2017
Chelsea Ladies' first signing of the winter transfer window, Jonna Andersson, has visited Cobham, few weeks before the contract she has signed with the Blues will be activated.
The Sweden international will be the fifth Scandinavian player on the books of Chelsea Ladies, joining fellow Swedes Magda Eriksson and Hedvig Lindahl, along with Norwegian duo Maren Mjelde and Maria Thorisdottir.
Andersson has said that she will quickly settle into the squad due to the presence of these players, who speak the same language as she does.
''Yeah, I played with Magda in Linkopings and Hedvig with the national team and there are other Scandinavian players who understand Swedish, so that will be good for me,'' Jonna Andersson told Chelsea's official website.
''They've told me so many good things about the club already and I'm just really looking forward to coming here at the end of the year to start this new adventure.''
Andersson would have been in the stands for Chelsea's WSL clash against Manchester City last weekend but the game was postponed due to the bad weather.
