Official: 34-Goal Nigerian Striker Joins Colchester United
Published: January 04, 2018EFL League Two club Colchester United have announced the signing of prolific Nigerian striker Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe, subject to paperwork clearance.
The 23-year-old arrives the U's from Bostik North side Maldon & Tiptree, for whom he scored 34 goals in 34 appearances this season.
Ogedi-Uzokwe played for the youth teams of Leyton Orient, Ilford FC and Millwall FC .
His other clubs include Carlton Town, Enfield Town, FC Barkingside, Hayes & Yeading and Lewes.
The highly-rated frontman has penned an 18-month contract which will keep him with the U's until the end of the 2018-2019 season.
Colchester United sit eighth on the League Two table after 26 matches with 41 points.
