Leicester City's Nigeria International Striker Wanted By Bursaspor
Published: January 04, 2018
The number of Nigeria internationals at Bursaspor may increase by one before the close of the January transfer window.
William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu are already on the books of the Turkish Super Lig team and they may be joined by Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa.
According to bursahakimiyet.com.tr, the French coach of Bursaspor Paul Le Guen is in contact with Nigerian national team coach Gernot Rohr and has also opened a line of communication with Leicester City manager Claude Puel over the availability of Musa.
With the former CSKA Moscow star valued in the region of 15 million euros by transfer market experts, Bursaspor might not be able to acquire him on a permanent basis, hence a loan deal until the end of this season is the most feasible option.
The 2018 World Cup is approaching and Musa is seeking a new team that can offer him playing opportunities.
The 25-year-old is contracted to Leicester City until June 30, 2020.
