Felix Nmecha On Target For Man City U23 In Win Vs Liverpool, Brother Backs HimTalented Nigerian striker Felix Nmecha netted his first-ever goal in the Premier League 2 as Manchester City came back from a goal down to beat pacesetters Liverpool 3-2 at the Academy Stadium on Friday night.

Midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru logged ninety minutes for City and he was joined on the pitch by Nmecha on 29 minutes as Garre was forced off due to injury, while Bobby Adekanye put in an impressive full shift for the Reds.

Meanwhile, Felix Nmecha's elder brother Lukas has backed him to make his debut for the first team in the not too distant future.

Felix told Manchester City's official website: ''This should motivate him to try and get to where I have.

''It’s always good to have a little brother who looks up to you and hopefully this will help him push on too.''

The Nmechas are eligible to turn out for the national teams of Nigeria, Germany and England at senior level.
