Published: January 18, 2018
ADO Den Haag manager Alfons Groenendijk is backing Tyronne Ebuehi to take the Primeira Liga by storm as from next season when he links up with his new club Benfica.
Only an official announcement from either club is remaining as the right back has already passed a medical and agreed a five-year deal with Benfica.
''It's a big step for him, he has the potential and he can show it in a top club," Alfons Groenendijk told Voetbal International.
Ebuehi has returned to the Netherlands and is in line to make his 18th appearance in the Eredvisie this term when the Hague based club host Kelechi Nwakali's VVV Venlo.
The 22-year-old is the highest-rated dribbler at ADO Den Haag after 18 rounds in the Dutch top-flight.
Having spent his formative years at DSOV, SV Hoofddorp, VV Young Boys and HFC EDO, Ebuehi joined ADO Den Haag in 2013.
