Announcement Imminent As Chelsea Agree Deal To Sign Two Players For 50 Million Euros
Published: January 22, 2018
Chelsea are in advanced talks with Roma over the signings of Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri.
According to Italian-based transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Premier League champions and Roma have agreed on a transfer fee of €50 million.
In addition to the transfer fee, the Giallorossi will receive performance-related bonuses totaling ten million euros.
The clubs have to decide on how the bonuses and the transfer fee should be paid - in one fell swoop or in installments.
Emerson has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, while Dzeko's agent is on his way to London to complete the negotiations.
The Italian-Brazilian left-back was a non-playing substitute in Roma's 1-1 draw with Inter Milan on Sunday, while the Bosnia star started the game at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
