Agent Of Musa : Leicester City Striker Will Join CSKA Moscow Next Week

Tony Harris, the agent that handles the affairs of Ahmed Musa, is confident that CSKA Moscow will wrap up a deal for his client next week.

Having said that, the Russian transfer window remains open until February 22, 2018, meaning the Muscovites have less than four weeks to complete the signing of the Nigeria international despite the fact the English transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Musa was not in Leicester City's 18-man squad vs Peterborough United in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, fueling speculation that his proposed move to Russia is still in the offing.

''Most likely, the transfer will take place next week,'' Tony Harris told Sport Express Russia.

In the current season, Musa has made only one appearance for Leicester City's first team, a League Cup tie against Sheffield United, in which he scored as the Premier League side claimed a 4-1 win.

The 25-year-old spent four years at CSKA Moscow, scoring 54 goals (29 assists) in 168 games.
