Three Talented Nigerians Star As Arsenal Advance To Premier League Cup Semifinal

Arsenal have progressed to the semifinals of the Under-18 Premier League Cup thanks to their 5-4 penalty shootout win over Norwich City at Shenley Training Centre on Saturday, January 27.
Three talented Nigerians started for the Gunners : Folarin Balogun, James Olayinka, Bukayo Saka.
At the end of ninety minutes, the score was tied at 2-2, with the versatile striker Balogun and Trae Coyle finding the net for the London team, so the game went into extra-time.
The two teams could still not be separated after extra-time, and Arsenal won 5-4 in sudden death.
Arsenal joined Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Chelsea in the last four of the competition.
Young Nigerian-born striker Korede Adedoyin impressed for the Toffees in their 2-0 win over Fulham at USM Finch Farm on Saturday.
Nigeria target Timmy Abraham started and was involved for 78 minutes for the Cottagers.
