Queens Park Rangers Looking To Sign Arsenal's Nigerian Winger
Published: January 29, 2018
EFL Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers are looking to sign versatile Nigerian winger Aaron Eyoma.
The Hoops have invited the 20-year-old for trials, with a view to a potential move in the winter transfer market or at the end of this season.
Paul Hall, manager of QPR reserve team, observed Eyoma at close quarters in Monday afternoon's 3-2 loss to Colchester United in a Professional Development League fixture.
It was another talented Nigerian that grabbed the headlines, Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe, who notched his first goals for Colchester United after joining the club from Maldon & Tiptree on January 3.
London-born Aaron Eyoma spent the second half of last season on loan with FC Volendam in the Dutch second division, and played 8 games for their U21 team, scoring one goal.
He penned a professional contract with Arsenal in February 2016.
Eyoma will join up with Nedum Onuoha, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Eberechi Eze, Olamide Shodipo and Aramide Oteh if he is offered a contract by QPR.
