Official : Premier League Champions Chelsea Announce Transfer Of Two Strikers

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of France international Olivier Giroud from Arsenal.

The 31-year-old has penned a 17-month contract with the Blues, with an option for an additional season.

On signing the deal, Giroud said to chelseafc.com : ''Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the Premier League. They have won maybe the most trophies in the last six or seven years.

''It’s a massive club and I am proud to sign for Chelsea, and I’m looking forward to playing.''

For the remainder of the 2017-2018 campaign, Olivier Giroud will wear the number eighteen jersey.

Chelsea have also revealed that Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi has signed for Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.

The former Anderlecht and Standard Liege starlet will play with the number 44 kit at Borussia Dortmund.
