Iheanacho Had Most Shots On Target, Ndidi Top Tackler Leicester Vs Swansea City
Published: February 04, 2018
Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were named together in Leicester City starting line-up for only the third time in the Premier League in their 1-1 draw against Swansea City on Saturday, February 3.
And statistically speaking the Nigeria internationals were among the standout performances on both teams.
Leicester City had five shots on target and Iheanacho had a game-high two without finding the back of the net; the number eight made two key passes, the joint-best along with Marc Albrighton.
Of the eleven Leicester City players that started at the King Power Stadium, Iheanacho had the second best passing accuracy with 92.9 percent ahead of Ndidi who finished in seventh place with 78.1 percent.
As you would expect, the Super Eagles midfielder was the top man in tackling with a game-high four tackles made.
The number 25 made two interceptions, three clearances and committed two fouls.
Iheanacho has scored four goals in his last four matches across all competitions, with all the goals netted in the Emirates FA Cup.
