Published: February 06, 2018
Newly promoted Norwegian Tippeligaen club IK Start have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Michael Olusoji Ogungbaro.
The three-year deal signed by the 21-year-old will keep him at IK Start until the end of the 2020 season if the two parties honour the agreement.
Ogungbaro told IK Start's official website : ''I'm very happy to sign for Start. Now I'm just looking forward to meeting the team and getting started. I look forward to playing in Start.
''As a football player you have to be versatile. I'm good as a defensive midfielder, but can also play defense if the coach needs me there.''
Ogungbaro joins IK Start from Norwegian club FK Jerv and has turned out for Midtjylland and FC Ebedei in the past.
In 52 outings for past club Jerv, the highly-rated midfielder found the net six times in all competitions.
