CSKA Moscow Boss: Aaron Samuel Wants To Return To Super Eagles
Published: February 20, 2018
CSKA Moscow Director General Roman Babayev has explained why the club decided to loan out Nigeria international striker Aaron Samuel.
Samuel is expected to complete a loan move to Amkar Perm before the Russia transfer window closes for business in the next forty eight hours.
''First of all, we want to provide the player with practice. The level of ambition of Olanare is high, he wants to play,'' Babayev told championat.com.
''From the second training camp, unfortunately, he did not manage to join our team. There were no problems with the first.
''Plus, now Musa has come, the competition has grown at times. Footballer wants to return to the national team of Nigeria, so he decided to go on loan. He approached Amkar.
''Our goal - that Olanare returns to his his form and in the future, stably went out in the starting lineup of CSKA. We believe in the best.''
Samuel scored in two friendly matches against Montenegrin club FK Budućnost Podgorica and Alashkert FC whilst training with Amkar Perm.
