Bobby Adekanye's Goal Helps Liverpool Beat Stoke In Premier League Cup

Liverpool are through to the last sixteen of the Premier League Cup
after demolishing Stoke City 4-0 at St George’s Park on Sunday, February
25.
With the Reds naming a strong line-up that included Dominic Solanke, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez, Netherlands youth-teamer Bobby Adekanye dropped to the bench.
Neil Critchley’s side led 2-0 at the internal thanks to a brace from Solanke, the England youth international went on to bag a hat-trick after scoring midway through the second-half.
Adekanye replaced Camacho on 68 minutes and made an impact off the bench when he scored Liverpool's fourth goal with six minutes left on the clock.
The 19-year-old winger fired past goalkeeper Gyollai after receiving the ball from Adam Lewis.
With his goal against the Potters, the former Barcelona and Ajax wonderkid became the joint second-highest scorer for Liverpool in the Premier League Cup with three goals, level with Harry Wilson and Solanke
Republic of Ireland U18 international Shola Ayoola started for Stoke City but was replaced in the 18th minute.
