Barcelona Ahead Of Real Madrid In Race For Manchester United Star
Published: February 27, 2018
Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to reports.
El Chiringuito TV citing Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda claims that Barcelona will make a move for the France international as long as United are willing to sell him for less than £120 million.
Pogba is being linked with a departure from Old Trafford in the summer as a result of his frosty relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.
The central midfielder's agent Mino Raiola has reportedly offered him to Real Madrid, and there's also a possibility that he could return to Juventus as the Serie A champions inserted a buyback clause in the deal taking him to United in 2016.
Pogba was the most expensive player in the world before the world record transfer fee was broken by former Barcelona winger Neymar, who joined PSG for 222m euros in August 2017.
His current deal with Manchester United will run out at the end of the 2020-21 season.
