Done Deal: Nigeria Defender, Who Has Played In Four World Cups, Joins Henan Huishang FCNigeria international defender Onome Ebi has ended speculation about her future after signing a contract with Chinese club Henan Huishang FC.

Ebi has been inactive since she picked up an injury while defending the colors of Nigeria against Cameroon in the final of the African Women Cup of Nations in December 2016.

A product of Bayelsa Queens, the 34-year-old previously turned out for Swedish Damallsvenskan clubs Piteå IF and Djurgårdens IF, and Turkish teams Düvenciler Lisesispor and Ataşehir Belediyespor.

She returned to Sweden in 2013 to join Sunnanå SK before transferring to Minsk in Belarus the following year.

The versatile and experienced central defender has experience in the UEFA Women's Champions League with Minsk, and featured against Barcelona, Standard Liege and Fortuna Hjørring among others in the competition.

Ebi has represented Nigeria at four Women's World Cups, making ten appearances, and featured at the Olympic Games in Beijing a decade ago.
