Victor Moses : Finishing In The Top Four Is In Chelsea's DNA
Published: March 03, 2018
Victor Moses is confident that Chelsea can still qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
Though Arsene Wenger won't admit it, the Gunners are ten points behind fourth placed Tottenham, which is a huge obstacle to overcome ten games before the end of the season, leaving Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Spurs to fight for three Champions League spots.
''Finishing in the top four is crucial,'' Moses told Chelsea's official website.
''We’re a team that almost always finishes in the top four. We don’t want to finish fifth or sixth. We believe in the players we have got. We have got enough quality collectively and individually to do the business.
''It’s not going to be easy. It’s about hard work and determination from all of us. There is a mental strength here. Fifth is not good enough but we still believe in ourselves.''
Moses and his Chelsea teammates will square off against champions in waiting Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
