Chelsea winger Pedro Rodríguez is on the radar of Atletico Madrid , according to reports in the Spanish press.
Don Balon claims the Spain international has an offer from Atlético Madrid to replace Yannick Carrasco-Ferreira who joined Chinese club Dalian Yifang last month.
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife-born Pedro informed Messi after the Champions League meeting between Chelsea and Barcelona that he wants to return to La Liga.
The former Barcelona star explained to the Argentine that he is not respected by the national team coach Julen Lopetegui because he plays in England.
Atletico Madrid are ready to offer forty million euros for Pedro and he would receive up to six million euros wages per season if the deal goes through.
The 30-year-old is contracted to Chelsea until June 30, 2019 with the option of an additional year in the club's favor.
The Blues did transfer business with Atletico Madrid this season when they sold Diego Costa to the Rojiblancos for around £57 million.
