We begin at the Academy Stadium in Manchester. City needed penalties before seeing off Liverpool to advance to the last four, with four Nigerian whizkids in action from the blast of the whistle.

Lukas Nmecha and his sibling Felix Nmecha were named in the Citizens starting line-up along with Tom Dele-Bashiru, while Bobby Adekanye started for Liverpool.

Tom Dele-Bashiru subbed out in the 56th minute; City trio Nathanael Ogbeta, Ashinme Kigbu and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru who have been registered for the competition were not in the 18-man squad.

In the last quarterfinal, Faustino Anjorin, Tariq Uwakwe, Jordan Aina and Tushaun Tyrese Walters were omitted from Chelsea's squad vs Real Madrid at Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano.
