Published: March 15, 2018
Prolific Norwich City striker Adam Idah is set to leave his English club during the fourth international break of the 2017-2018 season.
The Irish-born talent has been named in the Republic of Ireland U17 squad for the upcoming UEFA European Championship Elite Round qualifiers in Poland.
It means Idah will be in Poland around the same time the Super Eagles are in the country for their pre-World Cup friendly against the senior team of Poland.
The Cork native has played for Republic of Ireland since U15 level and represented the country at the 2017 UEFA Under-17 Championship, where he registered his name on the score-sheet in a group match against Bosnia.
Idah is Norwich City's U18 leading scorer in the current season having scored ten goals in all competitions, including a treble against Barnsley in the FA Youth Cup.
He turned out for Irish club College Corinthians before he was snapped up by the Canaries last summer.
Ireland will face Macedonia, Georgia and hosts Poland in UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round Group 3 fixtures this month.
