Super Eagles Captain Onazi: Poland One Of The Strongest Teams, Game Good For Us

Super Eagles substantive captain Eddy Onazi faced the cameras in Wrocław on Thursday ahead of the Super Eagles eagerly anticipated pre-World Cup friendly against Poland at the Municipal Stadium.
The Trabzonspor midfielder highlighted that the friendly against the top European team will assist the coaching staff led by Gernot Rohr assess the strengths and weaknesses of the team before the 2018 World Cup.
''...To really concentrate on the World Cup, it's not all about money but the most important thing is to clear issues on ground and then we know we are focusing on the World Cup and this will give us a good start,'' said Onazi.
''For the game tomorrow, it is very important for us, you know the Polish team is one of the strongest. It is good for us to play this friendly to be able to measure our strengths and weaknesses.
''Our coaches are here, for them to drive us on what to do, we are doing our best. We believe this game will be a really good one for us and we have another one in London. It is good for us to assess ourselves.''
The Poland-Nigeria friendly starts at 2045 hours Nigerian time and the game will be broadcast live on television on South African channel SuperSport.
