Super Eagles Still Focused On Recovery Session, Balogun & Shehu Jog At The Hive
Published: March 25, 2018
The Super Eagles stars continued their preparations for the upcoming friendly against Serbia in the English capital, with another recovery session held at Barnet FC's training ground on Sunday morning, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The workout started at the training pitch next to the Hive Stadium in Canons Park at approximately 1000 hours.
Those players that started the physically exhausting match against Poland only engaged in physical exercises, before they were separated to play tennis among themselves.
The little bit of good news is that the questionable quartet Leon Balogun, Shehu Abdullahi, Tyronne Ebuehi and Joel Obi participated in the jogging exercises at the start of the session.
Nigeria beat Poland 1-0 at the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław in their first game of the last international break of the 2017-2018 season.
Their second friendly will be against another World Cup team, Serbia, at the Hive Stadium on Tuesday, March 27, starting from 2100 hours Nigerian time.
The Serbian national team had their first training session on English soil at Brunel University ground on Saturday.
