Nigeria Ahead Of England In Race For Talented Bournemouth Midfielder

The Nigeria Football Federation are in the driving seat, ahead of their English counterparts, for the services of promising Bournemouth winger Nnamdi Oforborh.
The Cherries youth-teamer has been handed a call-up to the Nigerian U20 National Team, meaning he will train with the Flying Eagles before their 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers in May.
Oforborh's invitation has the blessing of Bournemouth as the Premier League side have congratulated him on his maiden call-up to the Nigeria setup.
Bournemouth tweeted : ''š³š¬ Congratulations to @NnamdiOfoborh4 š³š¬ He's been called up to the Nigeria under-20s squad š #afcb š''.
Nnamdi Oforborh retweeted the post, which suggests that he has committed his international future to Nigeria over England.
Born November 7, 1999, Nnamdi is highly regarded at Bournemouth and was named to the provisional roster for the Premier League match against Swansea City on November 25, but missed out on the 18-man match day squad.
He previously turned out for Tottenham Hotspur and Millwall.
