Aaron Samuel Gives Rohr Something To Think About With Brace For Amkar PermAaron Samuel gave Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr something to think about before the German names his provisional squad list for the World Cup.

The CSKA Moscow loanee scored his first competitive goals for Amkar Perm in their 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow on game week 24 in the Russian Premier League this afternoon.

All three Nigeria internationals on the books of Amkar Perm in the shape of Samuel, Brian Idowu and Fegor Ogude started.

Manuel Fernandes converted a spot kick in the 16th minute to give the visitors the lead and the scoreboard did not change at the end of the first half.

Samuel's goal from the penalty spot restored parity for Amkar Perm three minutes into the second half and the number 80 netted what proved to be the winning goal ten minutes later.

While Idowu and Ogude put in a full shift, the two-goal hero was replaced with 25 minutes left on the clock.

Samuel was omitted from the Super Eagles last two rosters but Rohr will definitely take notice of his fine performance against Lokomotiv Moscow today.
