FA Confirms Ndidi Has Been Banned For Two Games Not Three, To Face Off With Iwobi May 9
Published: April 05, 2018
Wilfred Ndidi will be available for selection when Leicester City host Arsenal in their penultimate game of the 2017-2018 season.
The Premier League has confirmed that Leicester City's Premier League match vs Arsenal will now hold on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
The match was earlier scheduled to take place at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, March 17 but had to be postponed because of the Foxes FA Cup quarterfinal clash against Chelsea.
The English Football Association has also confirmed that Ndidi will be suspended for two matches following his dismissal in Leicester City's 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove last weekend.
And that means referee Chris Kavanagh did not include in his match report that the Nigeria international did not leave the pitch within a reasonable amount of time after he was red carded in the 87th minute.
In the league opener on August 11, Ndidi logged ninety minutes, Iheanacho came off the bench for his Leicester City debut on 82 minutes while Alex Iwobi was a non-playing substitute.
