Official: Nigerian-Swedish Right Back Joins Hittarps IK
Published: April 07, 2018
With a statement on their official website, Division 2 club Hittarps IK have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Nigerian-Swedish defender Samuel Akintioye.
The 26-year-old right-back joins Hittarps IK from Syrianska FC, where he spent three seasons.
''Samuel is important and his qualities are his speed, motion and goal awareness,'' Hittarps IK stated.
"Additionally to his nice look for the game as well as good fit, we can calmly note that the men's team building is strengthened with a modern fullback whose qualities will be made for the benefit of the offensive and defensive position.
''His uncompromising play is another attribute that makes him an important player this season "
Akintioye played in Högaborg BK for seventeen years prior to his move to Syrianska FC in February 2015.
He will wear the number fourteen jersey for the new season and could debut today against Olympic.
