Enyeama, Awaziem Not Nominated For Marc-Vivien Foé Award (Full List Of Nominees)Former Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama has not been nominated for the prestigious Prix Marc-Vivien Foé, an award handed to the best African footballer playing in the French Ligue 1.

This is the second consecutive year that the Lille netminder has not been shortlisted, having been nominated in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The other Nigerian representing a Ligue 1 team, Nantes' Chidozie Awaziem, is not among the thirteen players named on the roster.

The central defender has appeared 19 times in the French topflight and has scored one goal, while Enyeama has not played in the division since April 2017 despite recovering from a knee injury.

The winner of the award will be revealed on Monday, May 14, 2018 and the jury is composed of nearly 100 journalists specialized in French and African football from all media (radio, television, print, internet).
