U21 Players EFL Championship : Chelsea Loanee Aina Is Second For Minutes Played

Ola Aina has benefited from his loan move from Chelsea to Hull City, with the Nigeria international the second most utilized U21 player in the second-tier of English football.
Only Fulham's teen sensation Ryan Sessegnon, winner of five awards at the EFL Awards last night, has more minutes in the Championship this season, 3,770 minutes in 43 matches for the Cottagers.
Aina is next on the list, with the defender or winger racking up 41 appearances of which 40 were starts, clocking up 3,607 minutes from a possible 3,870 since the start of this season.
Born October 8, 1996, he has played 21 matches at right-back, 12 left back, 7 right midfield and deployed in left midfield once.
Nine players all above the age of 21 have started and completed every single game played in the Championship : Daniel Bentley (Brentford), James Chester (Aston Villa) Sam Johnstone (Aston Villa), Liam Moore (Reading), John Ruddy (Wolves), Angus Gunn (Norwich), Darren Randolph (Boro), Shaun Hutchinson (Millwall) and Jack O'Connell (Sheffield United).
Of the Nigeria internationals classed as fullbacks, Aina has logged the most minutes in the league alone, more than Abdullahi Shehu and Tyronne Ebuehi.
