Central Midfielder Pens New Two-Year Contract With Manchester United
Published: April 17, 2018
Highly-rated teenager Rhys Bennett has been rewarded with a new deal by English Premier League giants Manchester United, the player himself has announced.
The central midfielder will remain at the Old Trafford outfit until at least the end of the 2019-2020 season, having appended his signature to a fresh two-year deal.
Bennett is classed as an U14 player but frequently trains and plays for Manchester United U15s and was on target in their 2-1 win over Wrexham on April 7.
If he continues to impress for United's youth teams, it is envisaged that he will be offered a scholarship before the start of the 2020-2021 campaign.
