Nigeria, England, Netherlands In Three-Way Battle For Arsenal Free-Kick Expert
Published: April 19, 2018
The Nigerian Federation, English FA and Royal Dutch Football Association are in a three-way battle over the services of Arsenal wonderkid Malcolm Ebiowei.
Nigeria and England are presently lagging behind the KNVB for the versatile midfielder as he has been capped by the Netherlands at U15 level but that could change in the near future, with the Nigerian Federation working on inviting talented foreign-born youngsters to the Golden Eaglets.
''Malcolm is a midfielder who is capable of playing on the wing, which he has showed for the Dutch U15 side,'' Dutch youth football expert AjaxDaily Youth told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''He made his debut in that team against Italy U15 playing from the left wing. His preferred foot is left although his right foot is decent as well.
''He was also invited for an English training camp in August. When I saw him play in Friedrichshafen for the Hallencup he performed well, if I remember correctly he was wearing number 10 for the Arsenal U15 side.'
''My first impression was that his left foot looked lethal, he is built in an athletic way and his movement was smoother than expected.''
Malcolm Ebiowei is a free-kick expert and scored a beauty for the Arsenal U15 side against Borussia Dortmund at the
U15 C-Junioren, Blitzturnier tournament in Eichede.
Born September 4, 2003, he represented London Nautical School at the English Schools' Football Association U14 PlayStation Schools Cup this season.
