Rohr Receives Good News As Ebuehi Circles Date On His Calendar For Comeback
Published: April 23, 2018
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has received good news from Dutch Eredivisie outfit ADO Den Haag about the condition of Tyronne Ebuehi.
The Nigeria international has been battling to overcome an injury since March 10, which has curtailed his appearances to two games from a possible five.
The injury update released by ADO Den Haag on Monday morning confirmed that Ebuehi is ready for a comeback and the defender was videoed being put through his paces by an unnamed coaching staff.
Though the 22-year-old did not train with the rest of his teammates, he is expected to join the group in the coming days, ahead of Sunday's league match against PSV Eindhoven at Cars Jeans Stadion.
Ebuehi needs to play two more games in the league before surpassing his highest number of appearances for a season (29) which he set in the 2016-2017 campaign.
It is a foregone conclusion that he will be named to Nigeria's 35-man provisional roster for the World Cup when it is announced next month, barring any new developments.
