 NFF Boss Pinnick, Abraham Face Nervous Wait With England Set To Name World Cup RosterTammy Abraham will next week Wednesday, May 16, find out if he will make England's squad for the 2018 World Cup after the English FA on Friday revealed that Three Lions' team for Russia 2018 will be announced on said date.

Abraham, on loan at Swansea from Chelsea, reportedly rebuffed the attempts of the Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick to have him play international football for his fatherland despite the NFF boss being his father's childhood friend.
 
Born Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo- Abraham to Nigerian parents from Warri, Delta State, Abraham played in two international friendlies against Germany and Brazil on 10 and 14th November 2017 which both ended scoreless.

The beanpole striker also was in action for the England U21 side that edged Romania 2-1 on March 24.

England will warm up for the World Cup with internationals against Nigeria at Wembley on June 2 and then play Costa Rica at Elland Road in Leeds on June 7.

They kick off their Russia 2018 campaign against one of African representatives Tunisia on June 18 in Volgograd.

Nigeria have lost some of its footballing talents to England in the past with the likes of John Fashanu, (late) Ugo Ehiogu, Gabby Agbonlahor, Ross Barkley, Dele Alli and so many others opted to represent the country they were born in rather than the country of their heritage.

The duo of Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi however opted not to join the train likewise Rueben Agboola and Efan Ekoku in the 90's.
