Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh is inching closer to a first-team debut for Bournemouth and has a slight chance of making his Premier League debut on the final day of the season.

Bournemouth have published photos of their penultimate training session showing the central midfielder working out with the first-team players ahead of their visit to Burnley.

Ofoborh was excused from the Flying Eagles squad held to a 2-2 draw by Guinea Bissau in an U20 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday ahead of a potential debut.

The 18-year-old has flourished this season and was recognized by Bournemouth when they named him their Youth Team Player of the Season.

He often wears the number 59 kit while training with the first team and will step out onto the Turf Moor pitch with that jersey number if he is handed his professional debut by manager Eddie Howe.

The Nigerian whizkid traveled with the first team for the away game against Swansea City in November 2017.
