Nigerian-Born Striker Announces Departure From Chelsea After Five Years
Nigerian-born striker Eniola Aluko has announced that she will end her association with Chelsea Ladies after helping the club win the WSL1 title with a 2-0 victory at Bristol City on Tuesday.

The former England international returned for a second spell with The Blues in 2012 and has gone on to make over 150 appearances for the club

''Another League & FA Cup double. 2015 was a dream come true to do it again I'm beyond words,'' Aluko posted on her official Twitter account.

''After 5 yrs & 150+ appearances it's with a heavy heart I confirm I'll be leaving @chelseafc I couldn't dream of a better ending. To my teammates who I adore, the club and fans THANKYOUđź’™''.

Aged 31, Eniola Aluko was named Chelsea Ladies Player of the Year for the 2014-15 season and was the FA WSL top scorer in 2016.

She lists Birmingham City Ladies, Charlton Athletic Ladies, Saint Louis Athletica, Atlanta Beat and Sky Blue FC amongst her former clubs.
