Super Eagles Step Up World Cup Preparations, Train Twice On Grass 1030 Hours & 1700 Hours
The Super Eagles will step up their preparations for the 2018 World Cup on Monday, June 4, allnigeriasoccer.com is reporting.

For the first time since the start of their World Cup get-together on May 23, the national team will hold two training sessions on grass today, with the first scheduled to begin at 1030 hours while the evening session starts at 1700 hours.

According to manager Gernot Rohr, there were no injury worries in camp ahead of their trip to Austria, meaning all the players named in the 23-man squad list for the World Cup are expected to participate in today's session.

The German coach has suggested that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is in line to start when the Super Eagles face Czech Republic in their last pre-World Cup friendly on Wednesday, June 6 but it remains to be seen if he will be passed fit to feature in the game after training for only two days with the team.

The Nigeria Football Federation have informed that the Super Eagles were specially welcomed by locals when they arrived at their Avita Resort Base camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf on Sunday.

The Super Eagles will fly out to Russia on June 11 after their get-together in Austria.
